About The Company: For seven years BASSMAXX has been designing and manufacturing record breaking subwoofers that outperform anything in their class in both output and fidelity. They sell a variety of speaker designs both direct to the customer and through several worldwide distributors.Their speaker systems are used in nightclubs, churches, studios, live events and full music productions across the globe.
About The Project: BASSMAXX approached us with an itch to improve their esthetics and communications with their customers in the online marketplace. Although bassmaxx.com had been online for years most of their content, design and architecture needed an overhaul as their business has growing dramatically. The owners of BASSMAXX invited EDJ to ‘experience’ their products first hand and bring some synergy to the relationship in effort to create a product that reflects their companies focus. We trucked to Miami, Florida for the three day Ultra Music Festival armed with cameras, laptops and video equipment to capture all the action. When we returned we had thousands of pictures and hours of video from setup, teardown and everything in between. We used this content to create print ready PDF’s, promotional videos and web ready content that really gave their site that extra edge they were looking for.
About The Technology: In addition to a new look the growing company needed a way to link their site’s content management system (CMS) with an always online customer relations management (CRM) package.Simplicity was the underline goal of this project, simple to use interfaces that meet the client’s demands without all the extra fluff found in most CMS and CRM applications. By utilizing a mix of open source and commercial web applications we were able to provide BASSMAXX with the tools to move forward without the complexity of a large diverse application environment.
